ENGEN, Edwin
1948 – 2017
Mr. Edwin Floyd Engen, beloved husband of Mrs. Shelley Engen of Eckville, Alberta, passed away after a short but brave and courageous battle with cancer, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey, Alberta on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Edwin was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed collecting antiques and other collectibles; as well as his mornings at Wood Lake playing crib and having coffee with Terry, Ernie and Lynn. Edwin will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Shelley, his daughter, Candy (Quentin) Dyrland of Eckville, his grandchildren, Cheyenne Dyrland (Nic) of Sylvan Lake, and Jayden Dyrland (Bret) of Eckville; and his great granddaughter, Kacie Anne, who was his pride and joy. He will also be sadly missed by his mother, Elsie Engen, brother, Dennis of Eckville and sister, Faye of Red Deer. Edwin was predeceased by his father, Floyd Engen.
