Frederick Lee "Lee"  Furness
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Frederick ‘Lee’ Furness of Red Deer, Alberta, at Bethany CollegeSide on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Lee was born on November 12, 1928 at Dunnville, Ontario. Lee will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Virginia (nee Norton) of Red Deer, Alberta; two sons, Bruce (Pilar) Furness of Columbia, South America and Donald (April) Furness of Red Deer, Alberta; daughter, Nancy (Jim) Barnhill of Clive, Alberta; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his niece, Carol Maund and nephew, Richard Furness. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Lee’s honor may be made directly to Parkinson’s Alberta at www.parkinsonalberta.ca or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
