Obituary for Douglas Wayne "Doug" Olsen

Douglas Wayne "Doug" Olsen
With very sad hearts we share the passing of our rock, husband to Marilyn, father to Doug (Tina) and Kate (Jamie) and proud Poppa. Doug was a man of great strength and integrity and a man who stood up for what and whom he believed in. Doug's beautiful smile and sense of humor will be missed. Doug was the kind of fun, that made you enjoy life. He valued the friendships he made over the past twenty years working with the Nowsco Well Services and then Baker Hughes Oilfield Services family. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held at the Innisfail Legion, Branch #104, 5108 - 49th Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. At Doug's request please dress in casual attire, "jeans and no monkey suits". If desired, Memorial Donations in Doug's honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice at www.reddeerhospice.com or the Ronald McDonald House, Central Alberta at www.rmhcentralalberta.org. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com. Arrangements in care Maryann Hansen of the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer. 403.340.4040.
