Obituary for Hilda Martha Miller

Surrounded by her family, Mrs. Hilda Miller passed away peacefully to her home in Heaven on Monday, February 24, 2003 at the age of 83 years. She was born on February 5, 1920 at Alhambra, Alberta. She married Alfred Miller in 1938 and lived in Alhambra, Camrose and Calgary. Hilda moved to Rocky Mountain House in 1976 and later to Red Deer where she lived until her passing. Her family was very important to her and she was a caring, loving, wife, mother and grandmother and a faithful child of God. She will be lovingly remembered by her family; her children, Carol (Norman) Saar, Ron Miller, Deb (Jack) Bexfield, grandchildren; Mike, Cathy and Rob Saar, Tom and Jenny Bexfield, sister, Margaret Cochrane, brothers, Herman (Hildur) von Hollen, Gusty (Gwen) von Hollen, Tony (Jean) von Hollen and brother-in-law George Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband Alfred in 1975 and five sisters and one brother predeceased her. A Celebration of Hilda’s life will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Boulevard, Red Deer on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend James Schuelke officiating. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Lutheran Hour, 270 Lawrence Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario N2M 1Y4. In living memory of the late Hilda Miller a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park.
