Mr. Percival ‘Percy’ Roger Pierce passed away at home of complications from a head injury, on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Percy is survived by his wife, Sandra of fifty five years and his daughters, Lisa (Heather), Kim (Peter), Cheryl, Vanessa (Bruce), and Tara (Roman); his thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. As per Percy's request there will not be a public funeral or memorial. Arrangements in care of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer. 403.340.4040.

To be in his presence was to smile to your depths, the character of his movements, the krinkle in his eyes. From the students stepping on the bus, the elderly needing to fill a lonely afternoon, you couldn't pass by him without being drawn into his world. He became an instant friend for a moment in time.
This character full of love was felt by the animals on the farm, from the wandering deer, the birds stopping to chat, the cows nuzzling in his touch.
To have him in your life was to have Love...
