Dr. Meryl Eloise   Hart
Meryl Eloise Hart, MD went to be with her father, mother, sister and beloved nephew on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 66 years. A graduate of the University of the West Indies Medical School in Kingston, Jamaica, Meryl did her first specialty in Internal Medicine in Edmonton, Alberta, and her second in Critical Care in Saint Louis, Missouri. After forty years of practice in Kingston, Jamaica, Saskatchewan, Saint Louis, Missouri and United Arab Emirates, Dr. Meryl Hart settled in Red Deer. Meryl leaves to celebrate her life, her youngest sister, Pamela; a nephew, Jarett and her grand niece, Reagan. Meryl was predeceased by her father, Albert; her mother, Ivy; a sister, Heather and a nephew, Garfield. A Celebration of Meryl’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Meryl’s honor would be gratefully accepted by Pamela Hart on behalf of Lawrence Tavern Primary School; as it was Lawrence Tavern Primary School which started her on her road to being a doctor, her lifelong vocation.
