Our beloved mother, Frances Patricia ‘Fran’ Hengstler transitioned peacefully, early Saturday morning, October 28, 2017, with the most beautiful sunrise gracing the sky, celebrating her earthly departure. Fran was born February 3, 1926 in Castor, Alberta. Mom’s love of life was unwavering; her life’s challenges were met with courage and positive perspectives. Fran’s passions were many and varied; as the colors of her life’s tapestry. Mom left a legacy of love, laughter, beauty and lived with a passionate heart. “Thank you, Mom”. Forever held within our hearts she will be missed by her daughters; Laurie and Sandra and her grandchildren; Carley, Dustin, Clinton, Lisa, Matthew and Michelle and her great grandchildren; Kaida, Madden, Emma, Aubrey, Ausha, Finnley and Jacob. Frances was predeceased by a son; Don Hengstler in 1988 and a grandson, Devon Smith in 2006. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
