Glen MacGillivray
April 21, 1947 – October 10, 2017
Donald Glen MacGillivray passed away at Rocky Mountain House, AB on October 10, 2017 at the age of 70 years.
Born in Lacombe, AB on April 21, 1947 to Donald and Neoma; he was the 3rd oldest son.
Travelling between Alberta and BC; Glen became well known in the work force. During his time in BC he worked as a welder, when he returned to Alberta he mainly worked for Quinn Contracting and Speight Construction. August 2017 was when Glen returned his Speight Gravel Truck; we are all going to miss driving by the acreage on Highway 11 to see if Glen was home to stop by for a drink.
Glen will be lovingly remembered by his true love Cherry, Daughter Daquari (Lyle Smith) with their children Alyta, Montanna, Colter, Coral, and Storm; Step Son Travis (Carrie-Ann) O’Shea; Step Grandchildren Sierra and Caleb. Brothers Archie (Sharon); Ian; Bruce, Sandy (Debbie); and Grant (Ruth); as well as Sisters Gail (Bill) and Donna.
He was predeceased by his father Donald MacGillivray; his mother Neoma Stock; as well as step son Mike O’Shea.
Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home, Red Deer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Leslieville Hall on October 20, 2017 at 2 PM.
