Condolences

Condolence From: Brenda Hoskin
Condolence: Please accept my condolences on the passing of both Evelyn and Art. I met Evelyn at my very first job at CIBC. She wasn't my boss but I soon learned, when Evelyn spoke, we listened. She was a 'no nonsense' kind of a supervisor, who always gave 110% and expected others to do the same. I personally found her to be a breath of fresh air; no one had to wonder what she was thinking and, honestly, i think she knew the answer to pretty much every question there was about banking!
I soon learned that Evelyn and Art were devoted to each other. As a professional in what was then considered a man's career, Evelyn had to have pretty thick skin but I always thought Art brought out the best in her.
I later got to know Evelyn and Art a little better when I worked at Red Deer County and they lived in College Park. They were articulate, kind, considerate, fair-minded individuals and I always enjoyed our interactions.
While I'm sure many mourn their loss, I'm glad they are together once again. Peace be with you.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the family of Evelyn Russell. Art and Evelyn have been clients of mine for many years. I truly enjoyed their many visits to my office. Always stories and laughter to share. Evelyn would always give me a big hug when they left.
Art and Evelyn were inseparable in life and because of their true love to each other, they will continue to be together in heaven. Evelyn was a kind and fun loving lady, and she will be greatly missed.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. I met Art and Evelyn volunteering at the PARTY program, over several years. Evelyn was always so kind to me. I saw her and Art a few times after I moved to Calgary and they were always happy to see me and loved catching up on what was going on. I'm sorry that you've lost them both, in such a short period, but I do know that they are much happier together. You have my deepest sympathies.
