Condolence From: Your new neighbor Trees
Condolence: Carol had only been our neighbor for a few months before her passing. She was busy and on the go between her new home in Red Deer which she loved and winding up things at the farm. We would run into each other walking our dogs and discussed having a glass of wine together with the ladies 'wine and whine' chats. We didn't know her well but she is missed. Cheers Carol!

Condolence From: Sharon Forster McKay
Condolence: In childhood, my cousin Carol was known to me as "Cookie', a name that continues to endear her with close family members and friends. She was always fun to be with - sure to have a group of us giggling about one or more of her antics. Time and distance separated us for years yet I continued to hear about her through my mother whom Carol kept in touch with and visited from time to time - a much appreciated gesture by mother and by members of our family. We enjoyed a visit from Carol and her family when we lived in Thunder Bay - our back yard proved to be a good place for camping their family van overnight on a cross-country trip. Everyone was concerned about the family cat which had escaped from the car when let out for a few moments somewhere near Kenora, ON. Knowing the great worries about the lost cat, I can well understand how important Carol's dogs were to her and I am pleased to hear that they are now with her daughter Margaret in B.C.
We had the good fortune to meet from time to time in recent years, the last visit being in a restaurant in Red Deer. Carol drove into town to meet us, driving some distance to spend just over an hour with us. We were only 'passing through' the city, sorry not to be able to spend longer. Her effort to see us reflected her character - sociable, caring, and dedicated to family, no matter how distant. She will always remain a special part of the Rendall/Barnes/Forster cousin's memories. Sincere condolences to her children and to her siblings, Bill, Heather, and Janice.
