Mr. James William ‘Jim’ Seefried of Red Deer, formerly of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Extendicare Michener Hill, Red Deer, Alberta, on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Jim will be remembered by his sons, Darryl (Sharon) and their children, Abbey, Thomas and Nicholas, Dwayne (Dalyce) and their son, Daxtin, all of Red Deer and his daughter, Cheryl Jones and her sons, Tanner and Ty of Rimbey, Alberta. Jim was predeceased by his parents, William (Bill) and Regina (Reggie) Seefried. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Leanne V. Hall, officiating. A Family Graveside Service was held at the Wimborne Cemetery, Kneehill County, Alberta; where Jim was laid to rest with his parents, (William) Bill and (Regina) Reggie.
