Condolence: The last year has passed so quickly, it is hard to believe Betty has been gone this long. I have recently retired from doing foot care at West Park Lodge, but please know how I missed seeing her each time I was there. She was such a bright spot in my day.

Condolence From: Sandy Baker Bruhn
Condolence: I was greatly saddened to learn of Betty's passing, just one day after seeing her. I have been doing foot care for the residents at West Park Lodge, and Betty was always a bright spot in my day. Every morning she would ask what I had seen on my drive into work and we would talk about the deer or coyote I might have seen. She often asked how my garden and flowers were doing, and how the farming was coming along. We chuckled together quite often about, as she put it, her skinny little legs and how she was so happy to have good foot care. She always spoke with kindness about the staff and her treatment at WPL. And she always talked about her family with love and pride. This week when I was back at WPL there was a hole in my day that only Miss Betty C filled. I shall miss her so much.
