1928 – 2016
Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Hollman passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Marie was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry Hollman in 1998. She is lovingly remembered by her children, David (Lynn) Hollman, Linda (Neil) Currie, Karen (Hal) Soderberg, Harvey (Joy) Hollman, Janice (Ed) Lantz, Kevin predeceased in 1970, Carla (Chuck) Pimm, Kim Hollman; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; sister, Rita, brothers, Leon, Bernard (Lorraine) and Louis. Marie was predeceased by her sister Cecile and her brothers Joe and Allan. Prayers will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father Len Cadieux, celebrant. At Marie’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
