The couple relocated to a farm in the Eckville area from 1966 until her passing. Viola was a bus driver for twenty-two years and taught and played music on occasions for many years. Her hobbies included wood working and leather work. Viola will be lovingly remembered by her son, Don (Joan) Mattila of Eckville, Alberta, her granddaughter, Melanie (Jeff) and her grandson, Ryan. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, David (Marion) of Edam, Saskatchewan and their two children, Corine and Glen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
