Louella Angela Podovinnikoff Kinakin died unexpectedly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Louella will be sadly missed by her children; Sherrie and Patrick McLean, eight loving grandchildren, brothers; Terry, Robert and Gordon, and a sister, Brenda, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and many friends all across Canada. Louella was predeceased by her ex-husband Wesley McLean, son, Gordon McLean, and her parents; William Podovinnikoff and Mary Bordynuik. Louella was born in Pelly, Saskatchewan on September 7, 1945. She was a loving wife and mother, and had many hobbies and interests in life such as sewing and crocheting, being her favorites. Louella enjoyed all kinds of music, dancing and socializing. There will be “Celebrations’ of Life” gatherings for family and friends across Canada. A Celebration of Louella’s Life will be held at the Airlane Hotel, Madrid Room, 698 Arthur Street West, Thunder Bay, Ontario on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Many thanks go to Dr. Burland, and the staff at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for taking such special care of Louella.
