Mrs. Jean Dorothy Bates of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at Villa Marie Covenant Care, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the age of 92 years. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandra Peterson of Red Deer, her son, Lester Bates of Calgary, Alberta, and her two grandchildren, Ryan and Cory Peterson. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil Bates and a son, Gerald Bates. Honoring Jean’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
