This Book of Memories memorial website is designed to be a permanent tribute paying tribute to the life and memory of Herbert Schatschneider. It allows family and friends a place to re-visit, interact with each other, share and enhance this tribute for future generations. We are both pleased and proud to provide the Book of Memories to the families of our community.

Condolence: My heart goes out to your family. I know this is a very difficult time for you. Though the pain of his passing may seem unbearable, please remember that you are not left alone. Psalms 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, a hope that is readily found in times of distress. You see, God hates it when one of His children dies (Matthew 18:14, 1 Corinthians 15:26). So to comfort us, He makes Himself available to us in order to comfort and strengthen us. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 refers to Him as the God of all comfort ... Pray to Him for strength to cope. Weep to Him when words escape you. He will really help you (Isaiah 41:10) because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And please, call on His name shown at Psalm 83:18.
