Gordon Simpson

Gordon's life ended in the Red Deer Hospital. He is deeply missed by his wife Patricia; daughter Lindsey, her husband Derek, and their children Finn and Sid; and son Mitchell, his wife Stefanie, and their son Tallin. Gordon founded and ran Waskasoo Credit Company for more than 40 years. He was a past-president of the Red Deer Golf and Country Club and founder of the Wingers Golf Club, which is now in its sixth decade. Gordon served on the Red Deer Hospital Board and was a long-time member of Rotary and the K-40 Club. Gordon was happiest playing golf, making someone laugh (which he did often), and spending time with his family. Gordon was a remarkably kind and gentle man, and his love and pride for his family radiant. We are endlessly grateful to have had him with us and healthy and happy for so long. He is in our thoughts every day, always. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Gordon's life this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gordon's memory to the charity of your choice.
