Mrs. Julian Margaret ‘Julie’ Boisjoli (Weisenburger) (nee Smith) of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Beverly Center, Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Julie was born on April 11, 1926 at Delburne, Alberta. After marrying, Julie moved to the Huxley District, where she worked as a school bus driver and also at a grocery store in a nearby town. In 1960, she moved to Calgary where she worked at Woodwards and then at Lucerne Meats until her retirement. She volunteered many hours to help others in need through her Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The disease that struck her was long and difficult for her family and she will be missed by all for her wit and kindness. Julie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Francis (Carol) Weisenburger of Delburne, Alberta, two daughters, Darlene Bates of Red Deer and Priscilla (Irv) Pratt of Vernon, British Columbia, six grandchildren, Bradley (Dawn) Rowbotham of Red Deer, Rhonda (Paul) Claerhout of Red Deer, Aaron and Nathan Pratt, both of Calgary, Alberta, Devon Murray of Delburne, Alberta and Chantelle (Josh) O’Docharty of Red Deer, and seven great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by a sister, Joyce (Gil) Bauer of Red Deer, as well as many dear friends. Julie was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Boisjoli and a son, Percy Weisenburger. A Family Graveside Service was held at the Rockyview Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
