Melvin Dennis "Mel"  Guderjan
Mr. Melvin Dennis ‘Mel’ Guderjan of Red Deer, Alberta, formerly of Ferintosh, Alberta, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Mel will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Beth, daughter, Janice (Darryl) Gruntman of Sherwood Park, Alberta and his son, Rick (Angie) of Ardrossan, Alberta, his grandchildren, Daniel, Tara (Joe), Nicole, Darcy (Leah), Amanda (Chris) and Dustin (Ayla) and his beloved great grandchildren, Nicholas, Brianna, Emily, Katie, Zoë and Bethaline. He will also be sadly missed by his sister, Hertha and brother, Walter, both of British Columbia, his in-laws, Evelyn Prince, Wayne Olstad and Faye Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mel will also be greatly missed by his dear friends, Frank, Bill, Randy and all his coffee buddies at A & W. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Mel’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta and N.W.T. at www.heartandstroke.ab.ca.
