The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeannette Nichols can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Our condolences to the family and friends of Jean. As part of the arts community, Jean was very visible and loved to talk art at many of the opening receptions and exhibits she attended. She was a wonderful, kind and caring individual and, personally, I will miss her warm smile and friendly greeting. I had the chance to know Jean at various arts events and she truly was a wonderful person. I shall miss her, as will we all. Our sympathies and prayers go with you all at this very sad time.

Condolence: I am in complete shock to learn of the passing of my amazing next door neighbor, Jean. She was my Red Deer "Mom". Always so helpful and kind with such a big heart. She brightened my day so many times with her knock at my door to bring us one of her prize winning flower arrangements or vegetables from her garden or a pie or jam she had just made. Sometimes it was simply to see how I was doing. My daughter use to ask to go over and help Jean garden or arrange flowers. Our sympathy to Art and family. Jean, we will miss you.
