A memorial tree park is an area that honours the memory of a loved one – a living memorial. A tree represents a legacy, serenity, and an excellent way to memorialize ones life.

 Rules and Regulations on Memorial Tree Park

 

·         Enter the Memorial Tree Park at your own risk.

·         This Memorial Tree Park is not a cemetery and should not contain human remains or ashes.

·         This is a public park.

·         All memorabilia, tributes, materials, signage or other items of rememberace  placed in the Memorial Tree Park may be removed at anytime.

·         Please do not litter.

·         If you do place items around your tree – you have only 2 ½ feet area from the base of the tree.

·         All items are placed at the owners risk – Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium assumes no risk for any items placed around trees.

·         Tree damaged by natural and non-natural weather conditions or other conditions will not be Parkland Funeral Home and Crematoriums responsibility.

·         Trees are the responsibility of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium and are not to be taken from park.

·         No outside trees may be brought into park without written permission of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium.

·         Parkland reserves the right to turn park over to the County of Red Deer without notice.

·         Trees that do not survive will be dealt with on an individual basis.

·        Any items deemed unsightly, disrespectful or in the view of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium are not suitable for the park it will be removed at owners expense.
